About The Collection

Welcome to The Collection ! My name is Chantal Stijner, and I am the proud founder of this site. The Collection was born during the corona lockdown of 2020, a time when my usual work as a make-up artist and eyebrow stylist suddenly came to a standstill. Driven by my passion for beauty and personal care, I decided to share my knowledge and experience in a new way, and that's how The Collection was born as a webshop. It has now developed into an extensive personal review site.

My background in the beauty industry goes back a long way. I grew up in my parents' drugstore and beauty salon, where I learned the tricks of the trade from an early age. Over the years, I have further developed myself and have become a certified chemist, make-up artist and colour stylist. In addition, I have obtained my HBO-accredited training in dermatology as a beautician through U-consultancy. With more than 30 years of experience in the personal care industry, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and insights that I would like to share with you.

I used to have my own column in Da magazine.

During the lockdown it became clear that many people were looking for reliable information and advice about skincare and beauty products. That is why I decided to transform The Collection from a webshop to a personal review site. Here I share my honest and extensive product experiences, give valuable tips and tricks, and help you make the best choices for your skin and beauty care.

The Collection is more than just a collection of reviews. It is a place where I share my love for beauty and care with you, with the aim to inspire and inform you from my own experience and knowledge.

I am happy to be back to work as usual, but my passion for The Collection remains undiminished. I invite you to discover the world of beauty with me and enjoy all it has to offer.
