Ion-plated (IP) jewelry

Ion plating is currently the most advanced way to apply a high-quality top layer (coating) to jewelry and watches. With ion plating, a titanium nitrite layer is first applied to the object to be processed. This ensures stability. The red-hot colored layer is then placed over the object with very high pressure. This is done in a vacuum cabin so that the plasma and magnetic fields that arise during the process can do their work. The resulting top layer is more durable, deeper in color and more resistant to wear. The coating applied using Ion plating lasts five to eight times longer than plating applied using traditional methods.

Stainless steel is a stainless steel and became popular during the art deco period. The high-quality steel remains beautiful and does not discolour, making it very durable. It is stronger than gold or silver and it is 100% recyclable. There are more than 150 types of stainless steel, of which 15 types are most commonly used. 316L quality is used for jewelry, which is the highest and cleanest grade. The advantage of this is that it is hypoallergenic surgeon's steel, making it 100% allergy-free.
