The wall hangings from The Collection are original and luxurious.

The designs are from our designers!

In addition, The Collection has put together a collection of the most popular images. This way you always get a unique copy for your living room. In addition to the beautiful designs, the tapestry is made of a luxuriously thick 100% cotton fabric with a fine finish.

This gives the tapestry its luxurious appearance. If you have a bit of reverberation in your home, a wall tapestry also works very well against poor acoustics. The fabric muffles loud sounds.

100% cotton Wall Tapestry with Design

The wall hangings are made from a 100% (420gr/m2) sturdy cotton fabric with a beautiful and coarse structure. This coarse cotton fabric is produced according to the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) requirements.

The BCI focuses on making cotton cultivation more sustainable and guaranteed quality. The fabric can be washed at 30 degrees, but can NOT be tumble dried. Ironing can be done on the unprinted side. The fabric has a shrinkage tolerance of approximately 4%.

The tapestry is provided with a tunnel at the top and at the bottom. The tapestry therefore has a tunnel of 6 cm at both the top and the bottom. The sides are hemmed in the stitching color of your choice.

In addition to the beautiful designs, the tapestry is made of a luxurious thick cotton fabric with a fine finish or you can choose a luxurious velvet fabric Velvetly. This gives the tapestry its luxurious appearance. If you have a bit of reverberation in your home, a wall tapestry also works very well against poor acoustics. Soft materials, such as fabric, which you place against hard surfaces help dampen loud sounds.

Do you want even more noise reduction? Then take a look at the Acoustic wall art collection. If you want something less luxurious, you could also look at our textile poster. These are also, as it were, wall hangings or textile hangers, but slightly different. The fabric is thinner and the textile posters come with beautiful wooden sticks and a leather cord.

Finishing and mounting tapestry

The tapestry is provided with a rod at the top and at the bottom. The tapestry therefore has a tunnel of 6 cm at both the top and the bottom. The sides are hemmed. The rod at the top is always 30 cm wider than the canvas (15 cm on each side). This gives you space to place a wall hook and makes the whole look better. By placing a rod at the bottom we make the tapestry heavier, giving it a sleek appearance. For the rod at the bottom, the width of the canvas is maintained, so that the rod almost disappears into the tapestry. Because there are so many different types of surfaces, there are no screws and plugs for wall mounting in the package.

When delivered, there are protective caps in the rod for transport. You must remove the protective caps before the cover caps are placed.

The cover caps have a small screw. You can loosen and tighten the screw on the rod with the supplied key.

Fabrics can wrinkle

The Textile Posters and Wall Hangings are carefully packaged and usually rolled up. However, it sometimes happens that a wrinkle appears in the fabric.

For example, if a tapestry is packaged rolled up, the fabric may well wrinkle. This can happen if, for example, the transporter does not transport the box lying down, but standing up. The fabric then compresses itself, as it were. A large rug is especially sensitive to this.

Even though we ensure that your product is carefully packaged, a carrier may handle your package less neatly. This may cause the contents to become wrinkled.

Fabric from which textile posters and wall hangings are made can wrinkle. Fortunately, wrinkles can be removed easily. This is the beauty of fabric! Both the textile poster and the wall hangings can be ironed on the back.

Tips:

  1. Iron on the back
  2. Steaming at the rear
  3. Don't have an iron? Place a slightly damp/damp (tea) towel on the crease overnight and weigh it down. Then you hang out the fabric.
  4. Pressing the fabric at the back. (Pressing is done with a hot iron and a damp (tea) towel. Place the cloth over the part you want to press and press firmly for 5 to 10 seconds)
