Maggi Broccoli Cheese One-Pot Dish with Minced Meat, Tomatoes, Fried Onions, Fresh Tagliatelle and Parmesan Cheese

Looking for a rich, filling one-pot meal that’s packed with flavor? Then my modified version of the Maggi broccoli and cheese one-pot meal, with minced meat, tomatoes, fried onions, fresh tagliatelle, and grated Parmesan cheese, is just what you’re looking for!

What do you need:

  • 1 pack Maggi broccoli cheese one-pot dish
  • 400 grams of broccoli, in florets
  • 250 grams of minced meat (beef or half-and-half)
  • 2 medium tomatoes, diced
  • 1 large onion, sliced into rings
  • 200 ml cooking cream 20% (Albert Heijn)
  • 250 grams fresh tagliatelle (Albert Heijn)
  • Fresh Parmesan cheese, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 300 ml water
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Step 1: Prepare

Wash the broccoli and cut it into small florets. Cut the tomatoes into cubes and the onion into thin rings. Put everything aside.

Step 2: Fry the minced meat

Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan and brown the minced meat. Add a pinch of salt and pepper for extra flavour. Make sure the minced meat is cooked through, but not too dry. Set the minced meat aside.

Step 3: Frying the onions

In the same pan, cook the onion rings over medium heat until golden brown and soft, about 5-7 minutes.

Step 4: Cooking broccoli

Boil the broccoli in 300ml of water in a large pan for about 5 minutes until just cooked but still has a bit of bite. Drain the broccoli and add to the mince and onions.

Step 5: Making the sauce

Add the contents of the Maggi packet to the broccoli, mince and onions. Stir well and add the 200 ml cooking cream. Let the whole simmer gently while the sauce thickens.

Step 6: Add tomatoes, onions and minced meat

Now add the tomato cubes and the sauce. Stir everything well and let it cook together for a few minutes so that the flavors mix well. You can also grate Parmesan cheese through the sauce now.

Step 7: Cooking the tagliatelle

In the meantime, cook the fresh tagliatelle according to the instructions on the package (about 4 minutes). Drain the tagliatelle and add it to the pan with the sauce, vegetables and minced meat. Mix everything well.

Step 8: Finish with Parmesan cheese

Grate fresh Parmesan cheese over the dish for a rich, savory flavor that pairs perfectly with the creamy sauce and tender ground beef.

Enjoy your meal!

This one-pot dish is a perfect balance of creaminess, fresh veggies, hearty mince, and creamy Parmesan. It’s easy to make, filling, and perfect for a cozy weeknight meal!
